More often than not, there’s fun to be had at Arbor Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, and that’s because we’re always finding something to celebrate. June 29th’s Beauty Contest is a shining case in point!
When Pageant Saturday arrived, our activities director, Kathy Florence, and dietary manager, Bobbie Walker joined forces and transformed Arbor Oaks into an impressive event venue. Drumroll, please...
“Third runner-up, Connie Cheatham; second runner-up, Stacy Hiatt. And...Mrs. Arbor Oaks, Joetta Reggans!”
As the newest Arbor Oaks queen was crowned, and the runners-up received sashes, their fellow contestants: Karen Wunderlic, Cynthia Matticola, Doris Fielder, and Earnstine Dodson, along with the whole place, cheered with delight!
Big congratulations to our beautiful Joetta Reggans, Mrs. Arbor Oaks 2024! And thank you to all the lovely ladies who competed in this fun annual tradition. We celebrate you all!
Buscaglia said it, and we concur. Life IS meant to be a celebration! Celebrations give us something to look forward to and opportunities to connect. Throughout life, and especially in the golden years, our bonds with each other provide great joy, which has a tremendously positive impact on mental health. At Arbor Oaks, we love a good celebration, and are always looking forward to the next one!
