At Arbor Oaks, we believe that care comes in many forms, including furry friends! Meet Oakley, our four-legged team member who brings love, joy, and plenty of tail wags to everyone she meets. Oakley’s story began in February 2024 when she was abandoned as a puppy.
Luckily, Arbor Oaks found her and welcomed her into our family. Since then, she has been making an incredible impact on our community, spreading smiles to both residents and staff every day.
Every morning, Oakley heads in for her shift, tail wagging as she checks in with staff and greets residents. Whether it’s a gentle nuzzle, a playful paw, or simply being a loving presence, Oakley has a unique way of brightening everyone’s day.
Research shows that interaction with animals can improve mood, reduce stress, and even support physical health. Oakley embodies this every day, helping residents feel happy, calm, and connected. Staff also enjoy her presence, finding her energy and affection uplifting during their workday.
